It’s been a little more than 2 years since GreatSoft first made an entry into the Australian market in 2018. A lot has happened since then.

We’ve seen Xero entering a partnership with GreatSoft and taking the Accounting market by storm, with RSM Australia being one of the first firms getting on board. As a result, the Xero share price has skyrocketed on the back of this news.

GreatSoft is now enabling firms in Australia and New Zealand to become the architect of their own cloud platforms, as we’ve seen the initial integration of GreatSoft with Nimbus multiply, to integrate with various other apps (including Xero Tax), mostly residing within the Xero Marketplace. Being true to their motto – Freedom of Choice.
 

Although GreatSoft is known as the “new kid on the block” in Australia, the solution is used by over 1000 medium and large accounting firms in 19 countries, including three of the ‘Big Four’ in Africa, and has been playing in this space for 25 years. 

The announcement of the partnership between GreatSoft and Xero addresses the gap that exists in the market for a scalable, integrated cloud practice management solution that meets the needs of progressive accounting firms and gives practices the freedom and flexibility to choose best in class cloud applications for each of their business lines, knowing they will integrate with the GreatSoft platform.  

This news meant great opportunity for Nimbus as well, as we recently welcomed Nexia Brisbane on board, now taking full advantage of the Nimbus Professional suite.
